Alita and Mitratel Increase Fixed Broadband Penetration in Indonesia
President Director of PT Alita Praya Mitra (Alita), TeguhPrasetya (right) with President Director of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi, Tbk (Mitratel), TheodorusArdiHartoko (left) signed a cooperation agreement related to the construction and rental of optical fiber in Jakarta, today.
In cooperation on the development and leasing of 6.000 km fiber optic networks nationwide which will be built and operated by Mitratel, and in collaboration with Alita, Teguh said, “this cooperation in the development and marketing of fiber optics with Mitratel is a form of partnership realizing synergy between the two companies. To increase fixed broadband (fiber-optic) penetration in Indonesia, primarily to support and improve the quality and quantity of broadband internet implementation, both through 4G and 5G mobile BTS and fixed FTTx supporting Indonesia’s digital transformation.
