Alita Partners with PLN Electricity Services on Asset Management

Jakarta, 27 August 2026 — Alita has formally extended its solutions into Indonesia's electricity sector. At a Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony held in Jakarta, PT Alita Praya Mitra signed a long-term strategic partnership with PT Pijar Laju Nusantara Electricity Services (PLN Electricity Services), part of the PT PLN (Persero) ecosystem.

Carried under the theme "Powering Progress Through Strategic Collaboration", the partnership brings together two complementary sets of capability: PLN Electricity Services' engineering expertise in electricity infrastructure, and Alita's three decades of experience in network engineering, ICT, system integration, infrastructure, and managed services.

Starting with a Joint Technology Validation

As a first step, both companies are running a joint technology validation, or proof of concept, in Surveillance Asset Management for electricity network assets. The approach allows technology developed by Alita to be tested in a measurable way against real operational requirements in the field.

The solution uses drones equipped with LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), thermal, and visual sensors to capture asset condition data. That data is then integrated and processed by Alita before being presented in PLN Electricity Services' OASIS Operational Dashboard. The result is an accurate, current picture of asset condition for decision makers.

In practice, this means asset monitoring and inspection can be carried out without requiring personnel to climb structures at height, with shorter turnaround times and analytics that support more planned, predictable maintenance.

The data processing stage is where comprehensive engineering capability matters most. The volume of data generated is substantial, while availability, reliability, and security of that data are non-negotiable requirements for operational reliability in the power sector. This is precisely where Alita's core strength lies.

A Convergence of Two Competencies in the OT Domain

The foundation of this partnership is the convergence of two competencies within the Operational Technology (OT) domain: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), which requires electrical engineering expertise, and data communication network capability, which has long been Alita's principal strength. It is the meeting of these two competencies that opens the way for integrated solutions in the electricity sector.

Solution Showcase: Asset Data Collection & Analytics Platform

Alongside the signing ceremony, Alita presented a solution showcase themed Asset Data Collection & Analytics Platform, demonstrating how its technologies work together as one integrated ecosystem, from field data capture through to analytics for decision making.

The components on display included:

• Drone Inspection: aerial asset inspection using LIDAR, thermal, and visual sensors, capturing field condition data without sending personnel to height

• ETS (Electrical Treatment System): treatment and maintenance capability for electrical assets [to be confirmed with product team]

• Mobility Solutions (Fleet & Worker): visibility over vehicle fleets and field personnel, supporting safer and better coordinated field operations

• AI Surveillance: automated detection of anomalies and events from camera feeds, reducing reliance on continuous manual monitoring

• Analytics Platform & Enterprise Private AI: data processing and analytics that turn raw field data into operational insight, with full control retained within the organisation's own environment

Together, these components illustrate Alita's end-to-end approach: data is captured in the field through multiple instruments, processed securely, and translated into operational insight. That same foundation is what is being validated with PLN Electricity Services during the proof of concept phase.
