Jakarta, July 29, 2022: PT Alita Praya Mitra received The Best Fiber Access Solutions Provider Award. An appreciation for the company's commitment to providing digital infrastructure to support the development of Indonesia's digital economy, one of which is to support the 4G & 5G mobile broadband service ecosystem.

President Director of PT Alita Praya Mitra, Teguh Prasetya, received an award at the 19th Selular Award ceremony for the best Fiber Access Solutions Provider category. The annual award ceremony held by Selular Media Network (SMN) took place in the ballroom of Marylnn Park Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday (29/7) with the theme "Winning in Digital Ecosystem."

President Director of PT Alita Praya Mitra, Teguh Prasetya, said Alita would continue to serve and provide the best fiber optic solutions to support Indonesia's digital infrastructure ecosystem development.

"Our fiber optic services are ready to support the implementation of 5G services in Indonesia. This award proved our support for implementing 5G services in several mobile operators," he said.

Fiber optics is the main supporting network that connects the global internet bandwidth with broadband internet access to broadband Internet network users at the home, office, or road. Thus, more than 8,000 km of optical fiber built by Alita will significantly support the deployment and connectivity of 5G mobile broadband or low latency, secure, and massive connectivity 5G for IoT. 

Alita, in this regard, provides this fiber optic network, openly and neutrally, useful for telecommunications operators in Indonesia.
